However, management decided to voluntarily make the club non smoking, saying the 20 something customers “want a different experience from previous party goers.”The Shockoe Slip restaurant is housed inside two former tobacco warehouses on the corner of 12th and Cary streets, purchased by Jearald Cable in 1973.
